Krótkie info o Extreme Rules
WWE Extreme Rules jest pro-wrestlingowym eventem produkowanym przez WWE, transmitowane jest on na żywo i dostępne przez PPV. Nazwa eventu pochodzi od określenia gimmicku walki o zaostrzonych zasadach, którą pierwotnie używano w nieistniejącym już ECW. Pierwszy event został wypuszczony w 2009 roku, tematycznie było to nawiązanie do gal One Night Stand. ONS odbyło się w 2005 oraz 2006 roku, jako reunion ECW, w połowie 2006 roku WWE przygarnęło ECW jako jedną ze swoich tygodniówek więc iż zostawiono w kalendarzu gale PPV One Night Stand. Trwało to do 2009 roku, kiedy przemianowano tę gale na Extreme Rules. Gala z 2009 roku według WWE była uznawana, jako kontynuacje One Night Stand jednak już w 2010 roku odcięto się od tego. W 2010 roku także przeniesiono datę gali z czerwca na kwiecień/początki maja, aby zastąpić Backlash, które było pierwszą galą po WrestleManii. Do tej pory w trzech z pięciu Main Eventów Extreme Rules pojawił się John Cena który jeszcze na tej gali nie przegrał.
